There is nothing in a shock to squeak unless it's out of oil then I 
still don't think it will squeak.
Do check the bolts holding it to the car, they do loosen up sometimes.
Most likely it's a squeaky sway bar link or rubber mounting bushing.
Or worn trunion or A arm bushings.

Try this test, spray a shot of WD40 on the trunion busings where the 
shock arm bolts to the king pin. If that stops the squeak, you need 
bushings.
Next spray where the A arms bolt to the frame, bounce the car a few 
times and see if the squeak goes away.
Same thing on the Sway bar links and mounts.
But only do 1 thing at a time.
You might make the squeak go away but it will come back.
