Lester,  You got kids?  I once thought my Acura  was only getting about 10
miles per gallon until if found the siphon pump in my 17 years old daughters
trunk.  Her comment was "hey Dad, you taught me how to do it"

  At only 18mpg you should be seeing lots
  of black smoke back there, Lester and most especially when accelerating.
