Has anybody had any experience with a fiberglass rear clip for a Bugeye?

I would like to replace the total rear clip on my Bugeye, which has been
smacked more than once, and crudely replaced at least once, with a fiberglass
unit rather than trying to properly fix the present monstrosity. I've had
some minimal contact with Mini-Mania about their, now discontinued, but,
posssibly, special-ordered unit.

There is some possible concern about the structural integrity of these pieces,
but I'm looking for first-hand experience one way or the other. Don at Mini
Mania says there haven't been any problems with them.

Also, this is for a street car, not a race car, so extreme body stiffness is a
bit less of a concern. Though, anybody who knows me, knows that I drive a bit
more aggresive than most.

Anybody?
