Anything can be made to fit anything, all it takes is money!  OTOH, why
would you want disc brakes on the rear of a Spridget?  The originals can be
made to lock up on a very hard braking application.  Lock up isn't a virtue
as it decreases the braking ability.  Physics--Rolling friction is greater
than sliding friction.

If you do put discs on, you'll need a proportioning valve, that is
adjustable, preferably by the ride height of the car.

Disc brakes can be an easy upgrade to the front and with the right choice of
brake pads, you can have excellent braking. Tire grip might be your limiting
factor to any better braking.
