To get mine corrected on my Bugeye Dan I drained the tank and dropped it
out. You can test the sender with a multimeter or replace it. Don't forget
you'll probably want to replace the gasket and don't lose or strip the tiny
screws. At least test the wiring from the sender to the gauge. The
connections on mine were questionable. After I had it out of the car three
times I finally just replaced the sender.

Be mindful of gas vapor safety too.

It's full but reads just over 1/4 tank. Harness is new. Any advice on
determining if it's the gauge or sender?
Dan
