                What's the secret to removing a steering wheel? I've
tried pulling, and
                smacking the column with a hammer, a little PB blaster,
more pulling,
                more hammering, more hammering while pulling, and the
thing refuses to
                budge. What have I missed? Or am I gong to need to spend
a month at the
                gym first?

                It's a '79 four spoke wheel, if that makes any
difference.
