Hello Robert,

       This guys information is incorrect. the Mark III did have a
       1098, but it had roll up windows, unlike the Mark II. also the
       top off the III is completely removeable, unlike the Mark IV,
       which was meant to be folded down. (well everthing on a Sprite
       is comletely removeable, but you know what i mean.).. . Also
       the Mark IV introduced the (beloved) 1275 engine. .. i don't
       know the details of the engines in particular years for 1275s
