Help guys,

I just discovered that I have a broken rear spring on my 1974 Spridget. What
are my options?
Mo$$ sells three springs for midgets - standard, lowered 1", and lowered 2".
The lowered springs command big dollar premiums.
Vicky Brit sells standard springs and a lowering kit which supposedly lowers
1"+. Which way should I go?

I seem to remember several recent complaints on this net about spring quality.
Any recent experience?

Finally, with the rear end all "exposed" for the spring swap, maybe it's a good
time to do the tube shock conversion. My rear lever shocks are the originals.
Does anyone have any experience with this conversion? Will I see any
difference in handling on a '74 midget that is street-driven only?

Thanks.

Steve
