That all sounds correct to me. I really think the Mk2 is a better set up, as
you use the starter knob every time you crank the engine and it's RIGHT there
under the steering wheel rim. The choke, during the nicer months you'd
actually drive the car, most of the time the choke isn't required except the
1st start in the morning. It is hard to pull the choke though, because of the
lengths and turns it has to make. I'll research to make sure you have the
right cables, but usually you accept the normal Moss engineering motto when
buying from them; "cut to length, hammer to fit, paint to match".

Thanks for the reply. In fact I have a Bugeye.

I was following the dash board diagram in the Moss catalog and couldn't
figure it ( the cable routing) out to save me - took a case of beer before I
went to the list for help.

Frank C got me pointed in the right direction, I think, and just this
evening I changed everything around so that it now looks like the cables will
fit.

The choke cable is 'behind' the steering wheel and the starter cable is
wayyy off to the right.

I don't have the engine/tranny in yet, but, as above, it looks like I
have enough choke cable.

Now I notice that the starter cable looks to be about 6 inches too long!
What's up with that?

Now, I'm going to use an under-dash push button and a new style solenoid
so it's not a real issue, but, are the Bugeyes as badly thought out as the
100's??? I have two 100's so I know about all those quirks! Or am I a victim
of PO engineering?

Again, any help would be appreciated, even if only for confirmation I'm
on the right track..
