Right Hand, Left Hand

On a chrome bumper Sprite, there are Right/Left hand pieces that attache to 
the frame rail on one end and to the bumper iron on the other end. Does the 
"top hat" reinforcement on this piece mount toward the frame rail or away 
from the rail? I've looked all over for a pic, but couldn't find a thing.
