For full grip on the threads, yes. If using a regular lug to catch 3
or 4 turns is acceptable with you, that is a different story. I chased
down a set for my minilite replicas, as I just feel safer knowing that
I have all the threads I can get holding my wheels on. I don't drive
real fast, but I corner hard enough to make most passengers go "OH
HELL" at least once.
