No need to switch "All the wires around", just turn the battery 180, hook up

the cables, if they'll fit, otherwise get new ones, repolarize the
generator, swap the coil leads, install a new condensor and that's all
that's needed for that.

To repolarize the generator, lightly brush the F terminal on the regulator
with a hot jump wire from the plus terminal of the battery. NO DEAD short
on that bit, just light brushing over it with light sparks. Once will do
it.

Now you have the tach to rewire, Frank will give that routine.

Paul - Thanks very much.

No need to worry about the tach- mine is mechanical driven of the back of
the
generator.

But - why do I need to change the condenser - that is not in my other
instructions. Is it for electrical reasons or just for reliability? Do I
need
a special condenser, do I mount it the same way?

Thanks again.
