I have no idea about its worth, but I do know I would not worry about 
any rust.  Just kill it with a good rust converter.!  I have tried 
several, and the best by far was "Gempler's" (www.gemplers.com ).  It's 
primary market is to the agricultural industry, and that should tell you 
how good it is!  I have used it not only on the Sprite before painting, 
but on garden implements that have been left out for years with no rust 
returning!
