The way Reserve is supposed to work (as I understand and IMHO) is for when
you don't know what the value of an item is to the public, but you know it's
worth at least X to you. Rather than putting a high starting price that may
generate no bids (in which csae you have no idea if the public's value is
close to yours or not), a reserve will allow you to see what kind of bids
you may generate.

So, I would NOT tell someone what my reserve is.
