Door assembly

My wife caught me bringing the doors from 
the Sprite into the basement...she didn't think they were doors 
because if the size.
I was just excited to find all the parts to them.

Should I be putting the glass and related parts back in them now, or 
wait until they are back on the body?  My thought was to do it to 
protect the glass, but now I'm not sure looking at the diagrams.
