So, it's been pretty wet here and bound only to get wetter.
And now without a garage my 74 Midget has spent as much time as it can
hiding under a car cover.

That's fine when parked outside the door but more often than not - since I
drive this car daily - I will be in a position where the car will catch a
good downpour.

The seams near the back of the folding soft top have some splits, a few
cracks in the plastic side glass, and an odd hole here and there.

I have been holding off on the top, interior, radio and paint issues until
the car is MUCH more mechanically sound.

For quite some time a few strategically placed patches of duct tape inside
the top have held the cracks
'somewhat' water tight.

Just thought I would throw out the question - what do YOU do with the cracks
in your original top ?

Thanks
Miles in Raleigh
