If those whistles worked, every insurance company in the world would issue
them for free with each new policy. They don't work.

The proliferation of deer in and about my
area over the last 10-15 years or so is the primary reason I've slowed down,
and most especially so on the "backroads". However,
I can vouch for the fact that "deer whistles"
do indeed work (above 30mph, anyway).
