Went to the Detroit Auto Show last Monday. Couldn't help it. The power
was out at the homestead and the shack was getting colder and colder.
(Here it is Wednesday afternoon, and the good woman called to say we
still have no water, heat or electric). Anyway, Harbor Freight had
their car company display down in the basement of Cobo Hall. This year,
it's the Changfeng Group <http://www.cfmotors.com/doce/> , parent
company of the Liebao Motor Company. Their wares seem to consist of
warmed over old Mitsubishi off-road vehicles. The flagship is the Liebao
Black Giant described in the brochure thusly:

"The vehicle body is broadened, thus body becomes more well-stacked and
smooth. Strong power drives the mighty body. You will feel full of
momentum and great dignity."

Seems like it was written by the same guys who did the owners' manual
for the Chicago Electric drill press/martini maker. I can hardly wait
for their description of the Modern Gentleman "loadster".
