I run a single HIF6 on a Howley. It's a 1275 w/a Kent 266 and it has
been flawless. I usually get about 29 mpg overall. I'll be happy to
check the needle code if it'll help you any. Just let me know...

For those of you running a single H4 on a 1275, what cam/carb needle
combination are you using? I'm running a single H4 on a Howley
manifold,
1275, VP7 cam. So far, I've been using a "GT" needle which gives me
27MPG but
still indicates slight richness at most throttle settings on an O2
sensor.
Power is good and smooth throughout pedal travel. Since this is for the
Austin A35, mileage rates slightly ahead of HP. Suggestions based on
experience?

Thanks,
Glen Byrns
