Sometime back, I requested the help of the group in finding some replacement
sheet metal for my 1958 Bugeye, now under restoration. I need the first 18
inches or so of sheet metal behind the cockpit, as mine is rather mangled
from the rough installation of a roll bar in years past. My previous request
resulted in some leads, but none of them panned out, for various reasons. As
I
am now finishing the body work on my BE, I'd like to get the deck squared
away with a properly shaped patch panel.
I would be happy to pay an appropriate price for the sheet metal and
shipping. Anybody out there got a rust bucket or badly damaged Bugeye that
can
serve as a donor of the rear deck piece I need?
