       .. .. put into the dashpots what you put into the crankcase and
       the transmission.. if you run 10/40, use that, if you run 20/50
       use that!... i think its the reason the crankcase takes 7
       pints... the leftover 1/2 pint from a 4 quart oil change will
       do your dashpots until its time to change the oil again!...
       cool huh?... ..
       others use ATF, sewing machine oil, SU carb dampener oil, all
       sorts of stuff.. .. if your car stumbles when you hit the gas,
       .. go thicker.. .. if the accelteration seems sluggish, try
       thinner... .. but "the book" says.. same as your crankcase and
       tranny!
