I realize that this is a long shot but if anyone is in the general
vicinity of the Triangle region of NC and wants to get their hands dirty
this Saturday, I'm going to be pulling the engine and transmission out
of two Midgets so I can transplant the good transmission from the parts
car into the supposedly "good" car. I'll have an engine hoist so there
shouldn't be any heavy lifting ;-)
If I get that done quickly enough I may take a stab at the figuring out
what is going on with the driver's side front wheel (probably brakes or
wheel bearings or possibly both!).
I can provide beverages and food and we have a swimming / fishing hole
out back.
