Weren't the "projections" on the bumpers of early 50s Cadilacs calles
"Dagmars" after a Swedish actress of the same era?

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabrina_%28actress%29 ,
"Her main claim to fame were her prodigious breasts." Her real name
was Norma Ann Sykes and she was a British actress of the day, so
it was fairly logical to name the large fake protrusions on the 74 Midget
(among other vehicles) for her.
