I don't think I sent my last email to the right list... getting
old(er)!!
Here's what I said (I think!)
The car is a 65 "Bitsa", three spoke wheel, center horn push (all parts
missing!), no ignition switch on the column.
1) Sprayed with PB Blaster because I figured it couldn't make it any
worse
2) Looked at a steering wheel puller, but it won't work as there are no
holes in the hub for the bolts to fit into...
3) Put the nut back on and using a mallet (Armstrong method) is looking
like the last resort.
4) I'm going back to HF/HD tomorrow to see if I can use a pulley puller
But any of the methods is going to mash the green horn wire. It's
frayed and needs replacing anyway.. but it disappears into the column
and I can't see where it comes out!!! No diagram in any of the manuals
and no pictures in any of the wiring diagrams...
