the country won't have changed names in 2 years or 50, after
all, Athens is still Athens, Rome still Rome, as they have been
since BEFORE they acquired and lost Empire. ..
but we are fighting human entropy here. we aren't yet AT the end
of the republic, but the signs are ALL there. Any
numismatists on the list? .. students of Roman History?
GWB has been hard enough on the republic, and our standing in
the world, and now the Supreme Court says NYC can sue countries,
saying it can change what has been held as INTERNATIONAL law for
CENTURIES!!!!!..
sad but true, republics don't last forever, they collapse from
INSIDE.
