I might even support this if it was not France!  

Even so, France's action brought the same weasel words eBay has been using for 
over 10 years, now, claiming, "...it acted only as a broker, facilitating 
meetings between buyers and sellers, and not as a public auction house."  In 
doing so, eBay denies any and all culpability or being complicit in the frauds 
it allows on its site.  I personally know that they have gone so far as to 
refuse to cooperate with some States' attorneys general who were pursuing fraud 
involving western and cowboy art associated with our family and early 20th 
century associates of Pam's great-uncle in the Taos Society of Artists.
