Lester,
     If you are going to mess around with a Judson for this engine you
better leave it to stock specifications.  The compression ratio is
the single most important thing that must remain original.  Any
performance upgrade to your engine with a Judson will give you
nothing but problems, mostly with overheating.  The Judson was
designed to work on a dead stock engine with NO modifications.  It
was a bolt on power source.  Talk to anyone that has tried a Judson
in recent times about the problems they have.  It's an expensive way
to try to get more HP from the anemic 948.  You would be better off
building a nice 1275 and putting a Datsun 5 speed on it.  Just trying
to save you time, money and frustration.
