I'm not sure about your particular car, but I think the bad engines were
only in 1 or 2 model years. I think around 1999. I'm not sure where you
can find out for sure, but I would guess that your Subaru service dept.
would know off hand. I'm sure they replaced a bunch of them under warranty.
