I'm not sure what question the guy is answering, but I
use Mobil 1 and K&N spin on filters on all my
Spridgets. They come in the correct thread without
adaptation. Without a remote setup, I'm not sure you
could get anything much larger than the correct size
in there. Mobil 1's go on sale for $5.99 locally all
the time, Farm and Fleet has K&Ns for $8.99
frequently.
