Thanks for all the suggestions. I went to three stores before I found that
AutoZone carries "Quick Boots" with clamps and a bag of grease for $17.
That ought to last for a year, which is all that is required. I suspect,
however, that the duck tape method will prevail, as it does not require
taking off the old boot. (It's yucky.)
