So after a year and a couple months I finally took my midget out for
an extended drive - maiden voyage of 58 miles - back roads not
straying too far from home "just in case".
Ran like a top - did notice what appears to be an occasional and ever
so subtle 'stutter' - seems to be more trans/rear drive train than
engine as RPMs hold steady. Only noticeable on or post acceleration
and it seems to fade maybe only happens on an incline? Clutch? Trans?
Diff? still trying to sort it out.
Drives like a top too- maybe better than it runs - nothing like an
entire front suspension rebuild to really enhance the driving
experience.
Now I just need to keep ahead of the rust demons and all is good at
the ranch.
What is good MPG for these beasts anyway?
