FWIW...
I had a similar problem with my AutoX '67.
There are circular 'patches' that are use on the underside of fabric covered
aircraft to drain out the moisture from the wings.
(Check out Aircraft Spruce and Supply)
I had a local shop make me some up in metal and fixed them to the
underside of the floor pans...
Air movement help suck the wet stuff out of the car....
They are not a perfect solution but they help a lot...
