The top shock arm knuckle is called the trunnion..
It rarely wears out but the rubber bushings in it always wear out.
They are a routine maintainance items and should be replaced ever 5
years or so.
Driven or not, they hold up the weight of the car and the rubber goes bad.
Probably under $20 to replace the set.
