A set of points with a Pertronix coil will provide all the advantages, and
none of the disadvantages of a Pertronix ignition.  Points are pretty
bulletproof and nearly maintenance free. I think the 123 might be a
legitimate improvement, but a Pertronix is still just a dodgy substitute for
points.
