My car came with wire-mesh air filters similar to VB 9-103. They are 5.75" in
diameter. I found some cheap Fram paper filters with the right diameter, but
they are very tall. Any thoughts on what car might use a 5.75" filter that is
about 3-4" tall?
We can no longer go to the parts store and ask what choices there are in a
5.75" filter. Yesterday, a guy told me he went in to find a plastic bug guard
for his truck grill, and the counter guy asked him if it were manual or
automatic transmission!
