     In Washington State, the RULES are the same for "Classic" car
     plates and "Original" plates. With Original (they don't have to
     BE original. They just have to be from the issue year of the car to
     which they are attatched) you don't have to have TWO, just one on
     the rear. There are also Horseless Carriage plates.
