My fuel pump sounds like it is on, I have 2 filters on it one in, one out.
You can see the in full filled in the filter on the in side and the out side
filter trickles with fuel. This is the 2nd fuel pump I bought in 2 years
from Napa. This one is made in the USA the previous I'm not sure. I removed
the fuel line and blew air with my compressor also blew air into the tank to
clear the internal tank filter as suggested by Frank. I thought all was good
left her running for a few minutes and then as I pulled out of the drive way
she stopped sending fuel behaving like I was out of gas. BTW I put 3 gallons
in and it reads over a 1/2 tank. I got her fired up again to get back into
the driveway and you can hear the pump working but it trickles out (visible
on the out side clear filter). I'm assuming it is a POS (piece of shit)
therefore off I go to buy another. What is the best pump to buy so I don't
go through this again they are not cheap even at Napa I think around $50. or
$60. suggestions please I can't go another year with her sitting in the
driveway again.
Linda
