When you transplant a new (different) motor with transmission, make sure the
threads are good on the transmission mounts beforehand.


Go figure.

Mr. Booker (Hi David!) was lucky in my experience. I've done it both ways a
number of times. I found it MUCH easier to pull everything and open once it
is out.
