Hi list,

I am preparing to get a '59 bugeye through testing to go back on the road.
However, I have
challenges left:

The operating rods left and right for the handbrake do not seem to go back
that easily after applying the handbrake. The wheels drag severely and the
rods have to be pulled back by hand. Everythings seems loose, well greased and
no play. Is there a pull-back string somewhere that I am missing? I need to
put the shoes quite sharp in order to have some effect in the handbrake
action.

Also, how does one prime the windshield washer pump? Or do I need to install
additional
anti-flow back valves in the lines?

Thanks,

Richard
