I think you can buy the whole strut with the spring already mounted. That
way it is a lot simpler R&R. Especially if there is a chance something else
in there is bent, and can't be spotted. ...bill in corvallis

This may have been covered, and may go without saying, but...

Please be careful replacing the strut and spring as there is significant
pressure! Most auto parts stores will loan the strut compressor if you buy
the parts there. If the damaged strut was not new, go ahead and replace both
struts for that axle. The car will be much safer for it.
