Geoff Healey had rear crankshaft seals fitted to all or was it some of
the LeMans and Sebring 1275 Sprite engines.
The hub at the end of the crank was basically parallel with the standard
flywheel dia. as required and a step to an increased dia. on the bearing
side so that a flange with seal could mount on the eng. plate andrub on
the crank face. BUT the seal was not a standard industrial 'lip'
rubbing seal rather an automotive silicon seal with a wide rubbing face
that has direction ribs to assist the control of oil.
