I bought a $60 "racing jack" because my Craftsman (not much better than HF, IMHO) won't go under my lowered Miata very well. It is light, and works as it is supposed to work, so far. I couldn't come close to buying the Aluminum that it is made of for $60 and if it breaks I can fix and/or improve it.
