I have had 7 MRI's over the course of a few years due to my lower back
issues and two surgeries with one more surgery on the horizon . . last
surgery was 5.5 hours long where they removed all of my lamina over the
length of my lumbar spine.
The MRI's were all in a closed tube. I was not, until now, aware of a
different design.
They also shot me with something to reveal more information while in the
tube - a before and after type thing.
Interesting info regarding the other type of MRI machines that are in use .
. again, I had no idea.
