My daily drive is a diesel Audi and I quite like it - apart from a lower
fuel consumption when it tows the trailer. On a rash and foolish night it
reached 115mph towing the (heavily laden) trailer and had more to give.
BUT, Government tax on diesel fuel means it is more expensive than petrol to
buy for the private owner. Be careful what you wish for!!
