If you or a
friend have a smart phone, there are many applications for speedometer and
g-meters. You can calibrate with that, or just discretely mount it somewhere
with velcro or a suction cup and cradle. They are extremely accurate. There
are even apps that communicate with your modern car's OBDII system via
bluetooth. They will show you all your car's vitals real-time. Cars are in
many ways getting easier to maintain.
