If you are squirting gas out the nub than you should check the float valve. It
may have a bit of dirt that is not letting it close properly.

Well Everyone,

Another weekend has started which means I am going to try again to get
Kristi's Midget out of Larry's driveway. Last weekend closed with a new
problem so let's see what happens now. We started out with no spark. I got
that problem fixed. The plug wires were not in the proper position, got that
fixed. The dizzy was not in the correct spot, think i got that fixed, Now the
new problem, when we go to start, it builds up pressure and shoots the cover
off the little nub on the side of the carb. Any suggestions on how to fix
that?

thanks for all your advice it has been helpful
