This is an interesting topic, I noticed those specs also and wondered if
there was a more efficient way to approach a project like that. Our cars are
too heavy, the kits are too inefficient.

Did anyone see the segment on the Tesla the other day on speed channel? My
brother-in-law just moved to LA to design for Tesla (he does interiors).
After being out of work in Detroit he took the job and loves it but he is
not a "mechanical car guy" and he can't afford a Tesla ether.

The way Tesla builds the rotor and stator is amazing and the chassis is
aluminum with a carbon fiber body. They said they get 245 miles on a charge
: ) Too bad 200K price tag : (
