On the other hand, there is also a US made "Essex Six" - Essex was owned by
the Hudson company.
There is an 'Essex Super 6' parked five doors down from my house.
I believe it is a straight six and also was the first car to implement
'idiot' lights !!

A lister need some encouragement about what a great engine the Ford Essex  
V6 is.  Probably the 3 litre and after the composite timing gear has been  
swapped to a steel one.
