Or, to add a bit of realism to it, say you are an engineer at China's
Dumbfluck Aviation working on its new J-20 stealth fighter.  You need to
replicate a hootchidoo taken from an American F-117 stealth jet, or a
whatchamacallit stolen from an American F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, but the
time, money and effort are too steep.  So, all you need do is roll out your
handy-dandy "RepRap" 3-D copier your industrial espionage people stole from
Adrian Bowyer at the University of Bath.  It's so much cheaper that way!
