It sold - so I guess it was worth $20k..Right?
If it was some kind of shill bid then it will show up on ebay again.

But you have to ask yourself..  If you started off with a $2500 dollar
Bugeye basket case and you installed a Judson, and brought it up to that
car's level - What would that cost you in parts and labor (and time)?

Having been there and done that - I'd say that $20K is not enough.
It's the time/labor part that people tend to wash under the rug. 

Now imagine you are up in the years and maybe you used to own a Bugeye in
your youth...and now you would like to re-live that.  In this case the
resurrection time for a basket case is not an option.  
$20K turn key is the option...and perhaps it's a bargain.

Is this Ebay Bugeye really worth 20K or is the bidding just inflated via
friends? I am trying to figure out what makes this one worth 20K, nice
Judson but aren't they between 1 & 2K add-on? And yes a Rivergate and 5
speed is not cheap but really 20K!
